Decorating Den Interiors Franchise Wins Award from West Ottawa Board of Trade

Easton, Md. —- Decorating Den Interiors’ franchise in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada was honored as Small Business of the Year by the West Ottawa Board of Trade. Owned by Catherine and Jerome Pulcine, the franchise was selected from 29 nominees by a panel of independent judges.

Known locally as CPI Interiors, the franchise includes a team of interior designers led by designer Catherine Pulcine, and a team of contractors, installers and administrators led by Jerome Pulcine.

The Pulcines also own the master license for developing new franchises throughout Ontario and currently manage 10 units, two others of them in Ottawa.

The Pulcine’s converted their 14-year-old previous business, CPI Interiors, into a Decorating Den Interiors franchise in early 2012. They also acquired the development rights for the Province of Ontario, and have since added six franchises to the five that were already existing in Ontario. They have ben Franchise Owner of the Year and Region of the Year while consistently winning design awards and other sales recognition, including being number one in North America in 2016 and 2017.

Decorating Den Interiors, which was founded in 1969, is the largest interior design and home furnishings franchise company in North America.
